Time registration

Time worked per person and per work order, with a full correction history

The Time registration module records time worked: a week view per person, entries with date, minutes and a link to a work order, time for a colleague with a separate right, the mobile app's timer that creates one entry per timed run, and a history of every correction.

Who it is for

Workshops that want to see technicians' time per work order, and service providers who track hours per file.

Time registration is an optional module. With the Mobile app module, the timer on the device becomes an entry.

What it does

  1. 1. Week view

    Monday to Sunday for your own person, with totals per day and per week, and paging to the previous and next week.

  2. 2. Entries

    An entry with date, minutes, an optional work order and a note, also backdated. It can be viewed, edited and deleted.

  3. 3. Time on the work order

    A tab on the work order shows the total time and the entries, and minutes can be added per execution line. The time per work order and per line is computed from the entries.

  4. 4. Timer in the app

    Each run from start to pause in the mobile app becomes one entry with a start and an end.

  5. 5. Time for a colleague

    A team lead records a technician's time with a separate right.

  6. 6. Correction history

    Every change or deletion keeps the state before and after, with the difference in minutes, visible on the entry.

  7. 7. Integration

    An API to create, read, change and delete entries, protected against duplicate submission.

What it does not do

  • An entry carries no price and no rate: a labour line bills the quantity it states, the time is evidence.
  • No payroll: no absences, rosters or wage-code export.
  • On the web, time is entered as a date and minutes; a running timer lives in the mobile app.
  • A correction does not change the person or the interval; for that the entry is deleted and recorded again.

Is recorded time invoiced automatically?

No. An entry carries no rate. The invoice states the labour line's quantity; the recorded time serves as evidence.

Can a technician start and stop time on their device?

Yes, with the mobile app. Each timed run becomes an entry with a start and end time.
