Webhooks
Signed webhooks to your own systems and to Slack or Teams
The Webhooks module sends events from Tavuni to your own software or to a Slack or Teams channel: as a signed document for software, as a readable message for a channel, with a queue, retries and disabling on persistent failure.
Who it is for
Organisations that connect Tavuni to their own software, or that want to see events in a Slack or Teams channel.
Webhooks is an optional module. The API for external software is sold separately, per API product.
What it does
-
1. Setting up a receiver
An administrator gives the address Tavuni sends to, and picks the format and the events. The format is a signed CloudEvents document for software, or a readable message for Slack or Teams.
-
2. Only known events
The event list shows only the kinds the platform actually sends, for example an inspection report that is ready.
-
3. Signed, with a key you see once
On creation each receiver gets its own key that signs the message. That key is shown once and never again.
-
4. Reliable delivery
Every receiver gets the same queue, retries on failure, a place for messages that could not be delivered, and is disabled on persistent failure.
-
5. A test message
From the settings, a signed sample message is sent to the receiver to test the connection.
-
6. No internal addresses
The address is checked: internal targets are refused, and the reason is shown.
What it does not do
- The module does not sell API access: that is per API product.
- A chat channel's address is itself a key; Tavuni shows it afterwards only as scheme and host.
- Internal or private addresses are not accepted as a receiver.

Questions?
What does Webhooks cost?
Pro plan: € 99.00 per month, excl. VAT. Plus Studio render: € 0.25 per unit (excl. VAT).
How does my software know a webhook comes from Tavuni?
Every message is signed with the key shown once when the receiver was created.
Can I get notifications in Slack or Teams?
Yes. A receiver can be a Slack or Teams channel; it then gets a readable message instead of the signed document.
